Robin Winston with FORMER Governor Mike Pence

On October 29th, 2015, The Winston/Terrell Group's President, Robin Winston was joined and recognized by Indiana Governor Mike Pence for the ground breaking ceremony at the Levi and Catharine Coffman Interpretive Center.

As conductors for the Underground Railroad, Levi and Catharine Coffin helped more than 2,000 freedom seekers to safety while living in Newport (now Fountain City), Indiana.

Robin Winston joined the Indiana State Museum and chaired the capital campaign committee for the new Interpretive Center, which will open in December of 2016.  The new center, which offers more than 5,000 square feet of exhibit space,  will feature stories from slaves who passed through the Coffin house on their way to the North, and explore the role Indiana played in the abolition of slavery.

The project was recently featured in Smithsonian Magazine's international list of 12 new museum's to visit in 2016.
